Baptism

Baptism

Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church believes Baptism is more than a ritual or ceremony. It is more than a symbol or reminder of God’s blessings. We believe Baptism is a “Means of Grace,” that is, a way in which God gives people his blessings. God’s Word promises that Baptism is a washing of rebirth and regeneration and a gracious water of life. Baptism delivers the blessings of salvation, the forgiveness of sins, and new life in Christ Jesus.

In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus declared, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all things I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age.

We believe Baptism is for young and old alike. We would be delighted to speak more with you about this powerful gift of God and how God might work through Baptism in you and in your family.
